2. The Hyatt on the Bund - The Hyatt on the Bund is located across the river from the Grand Hyatt Shanghai and is approximately a 10 minute taxi ride.
3. The Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Pudong - Not within walking distance but close to Metro Line.
OMAE 2010 will be held at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai, one of the highest hotels in the world (53rd to 87th floors of the Jin Mao Tower), located in the centre of Shanghai's financial and business district. OMAE 2010 has arranged a significantly discounted room rate of CNY 1,270 (approximately $186 USD) which includes one American breakfast, taxes and service charge! All rooms feature floor to ceiling widows, stunning views of the Pudong skyline and spacious marble bathrooms. The OMAE 2010 conference will be held in the ground floor meeting rooms of the hotel, so getting to and from the conference is a quick elevator ride away!
We suggest that you take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, as it is relatively inexpensive and convenient. Room Rates and Reservation Instructions for Conference Attendees
Room rates (in CNY-Chinese New Yuan) are per night, based on single or double occupancy. These special rates are inclusive of the 15% service charge and ONE America Buffet Breakfast per room. Additional breakfast is available for purchase at CNY 140 (includes 15% service charge). Extra beds are available at CNY 194 (includes 15% service charge) for Grand Room categories. Hotel rooms are available for guest check-in at 16:00. Check-out time is 12:00.
This reduced rate is available until Monday, May 31, 2010 (subject to availability). The OMAE 2010 special rate is applicable from Thursday, June 3, 2010 through Monday, June 14, 2010.

Grand Hyatt Shanghai Cancellation & No Show Policies and Early Departure Fee
1. All cancellations made by May 31, 2010 will not be charged a cancellation fee. All cancellations made after May 31, 2010 will be charged for one night (@ CNY 1,130 net) to the credit card provided for room guarantee.
2. All no show reservations will be charged one night (@ CNY 1,130 net) to the credit card provided for room guarantee.
3. The Grand Hyatt Shanghai will charge an early departure fee if your departure date changes after you check in.

Internet connection is available at CNY 5 net per minute (Maximum CNY 120 per computer per day on a 24 hour basis). Wireless connection is also available in meeting and food & beverage areas at the same rate of CNY 5 net per minute.
