REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND FEES
We are pleased to invite participants from around the world to register for the 29th International Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering (OMAE 2010).
Online registration will allow you the opportunity to make changes and additions to your registration as necessary until Sunday, May 23, 2010.
If you wish to register two or more attendees for the Conference, please click here to be directed to the group registration system.
The registration fee is determined by when payment is received, not by the date of submission. All fees are quoted in US dollars. Click here for a currency converter.
Author / Presenter Registration Requirements: In order to have your paper published in the proceedings; at least one Author per paper must register and pay by Wednesday, March 31, 2010. One author is allowed to present up to two papers at the Conference.
Member Rate: Is applicable to a member of ASME or any of the OMAE conference co-sponsoring organizations. For a listing of society names please click here.
Non Member Rate: Non-Member registrants receive an one year free ASME membership with the conference registration. ASME will provide further details after the Conference.
Student Rate Requirements and Qualifications: A minimum of one author must be registered at the full conference rate unless all authors are students; then the student rate applies. In the case where at least one author is not a student, and only the student is attending and presenting, the student must register at the full conference rate. Proof of student status is required to confirm the Student rate. Proof consists of a copy of the student's identification card or a letter from the institution's registrar verifying student status. Please send documentation to Glenda Freeman at Sea to Sky Meeting Management via the contact information listed at the bottom of the page. If proof of student status is not received at the time of registration, the student rate will not be valid and the Non-Member rate will apply.

PAYMENT, CONFIRMATION AND RECEIPT
(All payments are due in US dollars)
The registration fee category is determined by when the payment is received and is due in US dollars. A confirmation email will be sent shortly after you register. If you submit payment by credit card, a receipt will be included. If you wish to pay by cheque, money order or bank transfer, an invoice will be sent to you. Once payment has been received a receipt will be sent. Those pre-registrants who do not pay their registration fee until arrival onsite at the Conference, will be charged the Post Early Bird registration fee.

1. Cheque, Money Order or Bank Transfer (applicable prior to the Conference)
All cheques, money orders or bank transfers are payable to OMAE 2010, c/o Sea to Sky Meeting Management Inc., are due in US dollars and must be drawn from a American Bank.
Bank Transfers must be received prior to Monday, May 3, 2010 otherwise, payment via another method will be required. Please reference 'OMAE 2010' and include the name of the person registering on the bank transfer. Please send the transfer to:

The registration fee category is determined by when the payment is received. The deadline for online pre-conference registration is Sunday, May 23, 2010. Registrations will also be accepted onsite. The registration deadlines are as follows:
Early Bird March 31, 2010 (by 23:59 PST)
Author Registration Deadline March 31, 2010 (by 23:59 PST)
Post Early Bird As of April 1, 2010
Online Registration Closes May 23, 2010
Onsite Registration Opens June 6, 2010
REGISTRATION CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS AND SUBSTITUTION POLICY
Cancellations must be received in writing to Sea to Sky Meeting Management Inc. Substitutions are permitted until May 23, 2010. Conference Registration fee refunds are as follows:
- Refund less $200 up to March 31, 2010
- No refunds as of April 1, 2010
- There is no refund for any additional social tickets purchased
LETTER OF INVITATION FOR TRAVEL VISAS
To request an invitation letter, please send an email to visa@omae2010.com and provide your full name, address, paper number and paper title with your request.
OTHER REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Wheelchair Access and Special Assistance
All Conference venues are wheelchair accessible. If you require special assistance please contact the Conference Secretariat with details and be sure to include your requirements during the registration process.
Dietary Requests
Please identify your dietary requirements during the registration process so that we can make arrangements in advance.
Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be provided to all registrants in the registration kit envelope to be picked up onsite at the Conference during registration hours.
Insurance and Liability
Participants take part in OMAE 2010 at their own risk and need to make their own health and travel insurance arrangements.
Language
The official language of the Conference is English.
